For League Coaches in your Community

A Coachﾒs Clinic is a tremendous opportunity to advance baseball knowledge, and to learn more efficient and enjoyable ways to conduct team practice sessions. This specialized program is designed to help youth league coaches organize practices and to provide them with the essential tools to assist their players improve at baseball. Coaches are introduced to proper baseball mechanics and trained in ways to instruct players with drills, teaching aids and professional tips.

To help players sharpen their skills, we instruct coaches in age appropriate techniques and methods, tailored to an age groups stage of development. Armed with this information coaches are more inclined to achieve satisfaction in guiding players toward their potential. Check our calendar to see if their is a Coach's Clinic coming to your area! PROGRAM Our Coachﾒs Clinics cover various subjects. These may include how to teach the basics of Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, Throwing and Running. We also instruct in specialized areas of position play including Catching, 2nd & Short Stop, 1st & 3rd, Outfield, Sliding, Base Running, Bunting, Cut Offs, Run Downs, and Practice Organization.

STAFF All clinics are staffed by veteran Mickey Owen educators. These instructors have been chosen for their ability to relate to their students needs as well as for their baseball knowledge.

SPECIAL NOTE A Coachﾒs Clinic has even greater impact for the coaches when combined with a players clinic. The benefits for both players and coaches, as well as the league/community, are more pronounced and enduring.
